16 pieces c.1950s. Unmarked but by Kelloggs for punch-out card set. Each art board is 5.5x7" with 3.5x5.25" full color image area in tempera and watercolor. Each art board comes with printed and numbered titled strips of characters shown. Titles in order include: “Jo-Jo The Clown, Jumbo The Elephant, Rajah The Tiger, Atlas The Strong Man, Jumpy The Kangaroo, Neckie The Giraffe, Jocko The Monkey, Emmett Kelly The Clown, Molly The Bareback Rider, Bo-Bo The Seal, Happy The Ring Master, Sport The Trick Dog, Jolly The Circus Horse, Queenie The Bear”. Group was designed to have 15 cards but comes with an additional board with different image of Queenie to make a total of 16 originals. Group also includes six additional sheets with small designs for pieces never used, not shown in our photos. Art boards have been wrapped in cellophane which is torn on a few. Cellophane is taped on back with cellophane tape which is yellowed. Several have loose or missing printed paper captions and board margins have some glue stains and editorial notes in blank areas. Image areas are bright and Fine/VF overall. Extremely well done with nice detail. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
