10.5" tall cold cast porcelain figurine showing The Sandman from DC Comics ground-breaking Vertigo title "The Sandman." Box has some wear to flaps and is missing original packaging insert. VF. Box comes with original packaging sleeve that serves as COA which has two 1.5x2" areas of surface paper lift on either side panel at top from tape removal and color rubs on front and back. VG/Fine. Also known as Morpheus, sculptor Randy Bowen has included The Sandman's raven sidekick Matthew. Released by Graphitti Designs in 1991. Bowen has signed back of Morpheus's cape in gold ink "Pleasant Dreams...Randy Bowen." Limited edition, 1,142 of 1,800 produced. NM. One of Bowen's earliest DC pieces. Eerily beautiful sculpture.
