Hawks' Time Ray The Trick That Foiled King Khufu". Capt. Hawks is taken captive along with Tim and Patsy and given a secret scarab ring by a female friend which allows Hawks to fly his plane over a pyramid helping to set the trio free. Ad has endorsement for Post 40% Bran Flakes and includes large art of "Genuine Jade-Green Scarab Ring" along with image of Hawks saying "Boys! Girls! Get My Sacred Scarab Ring Free!" with coupon at bottom offering ring for two red Post Bran Flakes boxtops and also offering Sky Patrol pin and pilot's manual for one boxtop. Offer has expiration date of Dec. 31, 1937. Barely noticeable trace of aging around blank margin edges. VF. This ad is actually rarer than the ring. We've seen about four in five decades.
