9.5x10.5" art board has 9x10" India ink image area c. 1938-1940. Wonderful action scene shows four different planes battling in sky including double wing sea plane which has caught fire with pilot standing on wing and copilot in midst of flames with plane near bottom with two gunners blasting away at other planes as smaller planes in distance go down in flames. Art is signed in ink at left side of bottom "A. McWilliams". Trace of lt. dust soil, otherwise Exc. Great for display.
