Item Description
7" dia., 3.5" tall size medium fabric has photo on front with Moe, Curly Howard and Larry Fine. Moe has cartoon hands which are designed to look like they are hitting Curly and Larry on the head. ©NMP. Hat is signed in ballpoint pen next to images “Moe, Curly Joe, Larry”. Cap is c. 1958, issued right around the time that Curly Joe DeRita joined the team. Cap has slight fade and white areas are lightly stained. Signatures are a bit light, especially Larry’s. Overall VG. A rare Stooges item and possibly unique as signed. NMP stands for Norman Maurer Productions. Comic book artist Norman Maurer married Moe Howard’s daughter Joan and obtained the rights to The Three Stooges in the 1950's. He also did the art for the St. John “Three Stooges” 3-D comic book w/ Joe Kubert. Comes with Hake’s COA and JSA LOA.
