Item Description
Eight issues. Each is 6.5x9.5" with approximately 100 pages plus ads. Issues run from November 1900 to June 1901, just missing February 1901. Story is illustrated by E. Hering and storyline has men finding life on the moon and includes art of aliens. Other illustrated articles include Sarah Bernhardt, Child Photography, Secretaries to The Presidents, and First Publication of “Knickerbocker Days” illustrated by Maxfield Parrish. March 1901 issue includes poem written and illustrated by Rose O’Neill and June 1901 issue has seven page story “The Travels Of Prince Weary-Heart” written and illustrated by her. Issues have some lt. cover dust wear with bit of wear around edges. Insides are clean and tight. Overall covers VG/Fine, insides Near Exc. The book was first published in England in 1900 but this serial version is the first ever published in America. Wonderful illustrations and historic.
