Item Description
Each is 8.5x11 7/8" with page count ranging from 168 to 348. Includes September 1921, February and July 1922, January, November and December 1923, February 1924, February and May 1926, September 1927, and October 1928. Wonderful images include girl with butterflies, boy using snow shoes, little girl opening gate to garden, Dutch couple ice skating, boy and girl in spooky woods, snow queen carrying little girl into starlit sky, little boy and girl looking at valentine, two kids sledding, little boy on rocking horse, little girl eating watermelon, and little boy bored in classroom. Issues also include other key illustrators including James Montgomery Flagg, Dean Cornwell, and several issues also contain early examples of Swinnerton’s Canyon Kiddies. Covers have some dust soil with handling creases here and there. January 1923 issue is missing back cover. Insides are relatively clean and tight. Overall covers Good/VG, insides Fine. Wonderful front cover art by one of the top female illustrators of the 20th century.
