Item Description
1997 published by Applewood Books. 12.75x13x2.5" deep high quality cardboard box has gold stamped front cover which includes image of combination area of safe. Contains 9.75x10" “Gold Limited Edition” hard cover book with gold dust wrapper. Book has tipped-in reproductions of 40 color pencil sketches done by Barks in his 96th year housed in green velvet-lined clam shell case padded with three crumbled and numerous shredded sheets of City Of Duckburg currency. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed in black ink “Carl Barks”. A portion of the inside of the case has separated due to glue which has dried up with age but can easily be reglued, otherwise NM condition. Superb Barks art throughout.
