Item Description
1930s. Made by Kuramochi & Co. Ltd. Japan. 6x9x1.5" deep box has choice label depicting full-figure Betty wearing short skirt on trapeze. ©Fleischer Studios, Inc. Box contains 6" tall celluloid figure of Betty attached to wire trapeze frame which has wind-up key motor attached. Box lid has some creasing with split on right side panel and 2" piece gone from bottom end panel with corner split at left seam. Box VG. Label Fine. Back of Betty’s head has a dent but bottom of her dress has original paper label “©Fleischer Studios, Inc. Japan”. Toy works and still displays Exc. as dent doesn’t show from the front.
