Item Description
4.75x8.5x4.5" tall. Remnants of 1883 tax stamp which dates box to 1883-1898. Nailed wood box. Repeated paper label on box end and detached lid. Slight warp on lid. Although bearing no resemblance to the outlaw, perhaps the cigars name was inspired by the fame of Billy the Kid who was killed July 14, 1881. Overall box VG. Inside lid image is Fine.
