Item Description
First is 9.75x13.75" embossed tin sign. c. 1930s. Low volume brand from Louisville, Kentucky. Made by Axton-Fischer Tobacco Company. Tiny nail holes at top corners added later. Scattered chips/paint loss mostly in blue bkg. and upper right margin. Color remains bright, clean. Fine. Comes with 2.75x3.5x23" long "Frankfurter" cigar box. c. 1900s. New York factory label intact. Unusual exaggerated length. .5x6.5" tapered sliver of lid missing at right. Lower portion inside hinged lid missing 50% text. VG.
