Item Description
Lot of four. First are 10" dia. matched set with different years, text in center image. Wonderful deco design in center and border. Trylon and Perisphere divide border vignettes of various fair buildings. Made by Homer Laughlin. Back of both with gold luster notation "Decoration By Charles Murphy/One Hundred And Fiftieth Anniversary Inauguration Of George Washington As President Of The United States." Both are NM. Other two are 10.5" dia. with same graphics/but color variation. Both show rays of light streaming from Perisphere with Trylon on left and cloud text on right reading "1789 New York World's Fair 1939." Washington appears at top. Border has six vignettes of fair buildings. Back text reads "New York World's Fair/1789-1939/J. & G. Meakin/England." Both are NM.
