Item Description
9.5x12.5" soft cover program published by Truth Company has wonderful front cover art of Marlowe as Tudor wearing ornate flowing gown. Back cover has wonderful art nouveau image of pretty girl with flowing hair wearing beaded hat with flowers at sides. Soft cover program contains 16 bw stiff paper pages with numerous photos of Marlowe on stage and off including candid photos from her home in the Catskills and as other characters. Cover art is by Sewell Collins. The production was titled “When Knighthood Was In Flower” and Marlowe directed the production when it went on tour. Covers have some lt. dust soil and program is missing .25" piece at upper left corner tip. Spine has small splits at top and bottom. Overall cover is VG, contents VF. Nicely designed.
