Item Description
c. 1966. 18-7/8x23" Crescent art board has original 9x11.75" tall image area with wonderful original painting in tempera with demon in large block of ice with his arms coming out. Art is signed at lower right in pencil "Thurston". The film starred Dana Andrews, Annie Palk, and Philip Gilbert with plot line involving crazy scientist planning to revive a number of frozen Nazi leaders so he can start a new Third Reich. Film was released in the U.S.A. in 1967 by Seven Arts Productions, a division of Warner Bros. See next item #2104 for more information. White tempera paint outlining image is a bit thin in a few places revealing ivory colored art board painting was done on, otherwise image area is bright and Exc. Excellently done.
