Auction #204 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1446 in auction 204
Item Description
This design is listed as Hake #3 a ribbon badge with a massive 3.5" jugate. However, this piece is 1.5" with a die-cut ornate brass frame which encloses a 1" real photo sepia jugate held in place by a brass plate on the reverse fixed by six tabs and with a horizontal bar pin soldered on the brass plate. A bit of the luster is off the brass frame although much still remains. The celluloid itself is Mint. Beneath the tiny caption accented by two flag designs and an eagle at the top are oval photos with names below "Theo. Roosevelt" and "Chas. W. Fairbanks" along with the inscription below their names "E Pluribus Unum." Rare.
