Item Description
c. 1960s. 11x24-7/8" illustration board has 8x22.25" image area w/action scene showing robbers shooting guards in front of bank w/other robbers in small airplane on city street w/one wearing grotesque mask firing pistol from window. Art is initialed at lower left "G. C.". Likely used for a men's magazines story. Blank margins have some dust soil and moisture marks, a few areas of painting have lt. foxing. Hood of plane is missing some paint, though we're unsure if this is a problem or as designed by the artist. Most of image area is Fine/VF. Well-done w/bright color and nice design.
