Item Description
c. 1945. 24.75" long overall designed with wooden rod which attaches to metal loop which has two wooden wheels attached which have pair of polished masonite figures w/double-sided decals. Wheels and handle are finished wood. Label on metal frame has text “The Unbeaten Team A Ruehle Product Alhambra, Calif.” Comes with 1.25x2 1/8" wide string tag with text “This Toy Symbolizes The Spirit Of Both World Wars. The Fighting Men And The Defense Worker, Who Together Formed The Team That So Valiantly Kept Our Way Of Life, And Is Dedicated To Their Honor. G. I. Elmer 1918 G. I. Joe 1945 Made By Vets”. Everything comes in generic cardboard box which has a 1946 newspaper used as packing material. Box is Fine, tag is worn with two small tears at left. VG. Toy is unused and NM. Wonderful design.
