Item Description
Six items from 1942 Baltimore plant. First is 3 3/8x6" rwb patriot pledge card including text “I Am Going To Win This War! I Am Going To Win It Personally! I Am Going To Win It Quickly! Those Who Feel As I Do Shall Receive My Utmost Cooperation. Other Had Best Keep Out Of My Way.” with space for signature and piece designed to be detached at right with text “I Am Going To Paste This Up For All To See!” Faint vertical crease at left side, otherwise Exc. Other items include eight page employee handbook, Vol.1 No.8 September 1942 issue of company magazine “The Martin Star” with 20 pages, envelope holding several punched “Employees Earnings Record” cards dated between July 4 and September 25, 1942, pay summary slip for October 6, 1942 and payroll envelope. The last several items have scattered wear with some dust soil and lt. creases. Despite problems, still a comprehensive group of interesting employee items related to the Home Front war effort.
