Item Description
This is one of a series of politically themed buttons done by famous illustrator whose work was published in the New York Review. Curl carries his name along with publication name and copyright dates spanning 1963-1966. This button is "A-9 Bobby" in the series. Reverse has some small pieces of black surface paper missing from the fold out cardboard easel, scattered around the brass bar pin. Front of the piece has a .25" circular spot of cellophane off the lower left edge. Cellophane on these buttons was notably thin and almost all have some degree of damage. Rest of the celluloid has a few small rubs and pinpoint nicks but remains intact and as these come still in quite nice condition. RFK is among the scarcest and most popular in the series.
