Item Description
1920s French-Canadian made in Quebec. 3.5x16.5x16 5/8" tall overall designed for counter use with recessed area at left where bottle was to sit. Text is in French. Wonderful high relief Indian in center with full headdress with text in French “Le Meilleur De Tous” with additional text at left and right “Pour Usage Interne/Pour Usage Externe”. Front of base has text “La Cie Des Remedes Canadiens Evrege.Quebec”. Text loosely translates to “For Internal And External Use Best Of All Remedies”. A few tiny flakes on front, 1x1.5" chip on back. Paint has darkened somewhat but still Fine overall.
