1.25” with Ehrman of Mass. lightly worn but readable backpaper. Pictures criss-crossed farm implements over wheat shocks all with rim design of multicolor fruits and vegetables. This group was both a British and American civilian organization devoted to replacing male farm workers who had gone to war with women. The group represented by this button is the subject of a book titled “Fruits Of Victory: The Women’s Land Army Of America In The Great War” by Elaine F. Weiss; Potomac Books.
