Item Description
Two items. Plaster plaque is 8.25x10.75x.5" thick with high relief image of bomber #12656 titled "Flying Fortress" along with initials of designer at lower right "G.I.M." Plaque was sold unpainted and original owner could paint it and this one is copper colored with original wire on back for hanging. A few scattered dots of missing color here and there. Fine. Second item is 10.5x14x3/8" paper envelope copyright 1942 Pladak Products Philadelphia with image at top of front of "Boeing Flying Fortress" and images of six different "Three-Dimensional" airplane picture models from series on reverse. This one is #A-26. Envelope contains 10-3/8x13-7/8" heavy cardboard bw punch out model along with backing board which describes uses of the actual plane. Envelope is missing top flap and has dust soil and scattered wear around edges with a few bits of missing surface paper here and there. Good. Punch out and mounting backing boards are unused and Fine. Interesting pair for a plane which played an important role in helping win WWII.
