Reverse has "Awarded For Distinguished Service" above tiny facsimile signature "Capt. Midnight SS-1." Closed folder is 3.25x6.5" bwbl design opening to three panels. Cover has "Secret Instructions" and is signed as designated. The three inner panels describe the use and responsibilities of the badge plus "Official Commission" signed certificate of recognition is the third panel with S.S.-4 designation. One of the outer panel lists "Special Emergency Service Orders" for members. Mailing envelope has complete address sticker and only minimal wear or aging, mostly mild creasing. VG. Folder VF.
