7x8.75" with 80 bw pages. Published by Grosset & Dunlap copyright 1929 Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. Book is "Picturized From The Novel Tarzan And The Apes By Edgar Rice Burroughs" and contains 300 panel illustrations by Harold Foster who would go on to do the Tarzan comic strip regularly and follow that with Prince Valiant. Front cover has nice art of Tarzan with knife in right hand pulling arm of angry ape who is carrying woman. Covers have a few color rubs with some dust soil, most noticeable on back cover, light bumps at corner tips. Blank inside front cover has original owner's book plate. Overall covers VG, pages VF. The Overstreet price for this book in this condition is $172.00+. Choice Foster art throughout.
