13x18" thin glossy paper sign for Grape-Nuts Flakes 1944 premium. Design includes large image of a boy using the premium, Harrigan portrait at top left and cereal box at lower right along w/detailed text on the premium and how it was obtained for 10¢ and one box top. Both front and back top and bottom margins have .25" wide strip of adhesive for either window or wall mounting. While sign was never mounted, bottom margins have scattered wear where it laid against another poster. Front bottom margin has additional small areas of surface paper while reverse has some surface paper pieces as well. The areas of surface paper are not very distracting and sign remains bright and clean w/vibrant color. VF. Scarce. Lot also includes 10x12" lower left-hand corner of a much larger die-cut cardboard sign for display of cereal box. Image of boy w/plane is somewhat similar to image on paper sign. This piece also pictures helicopter mentioned. This piece has torn edges where rest of sign was attached. Crease on plane fuselage. Just comes along. Good.
