Text printed at bottom left margin "Editors Note: The New Daily And Sunday Comic Strip, The Lone Ranger, Begins In The Detroit Times Sept. 11". Copyright Lone Ranger Inc. 1938. Sheet is lightly but evenly tanned and a bit faded with a few lt. handling creases and trace of lt. wear along right margin edge. VG. Postcard is 3.25x5.5" postmarked Detroit Mich. Aug 25 1938 and has text "Hi-Yo! Another Special Supplement! Free - Ready To Frame A Color Picture Of The Lone Ranger And His Horse Silver With All Editions Of The Sept. 4 Detroit Sunday Times Wire Your Order For Extra Copies". Card is addressed to recipient in Ontario, Canada. Exc. First we've seen of this postcard in our 45 years. Nice pair to display together.
