Item Description
15.5" tall doll with composition head, hands, boots with stuffed body. Copyright 1938 T.L.R. Co. Inc. Wears felt mask with elastic band and cotton fabric bandanna, plaid shirt w/faux suede chaps. Cuffs, belt and holsters are made of oil cloth-type material. Attached to right holster is 3" dia. original paper tag with Lone Ranger on Silver saying "Hi-Yo Silver" with his name in rope design. Reverse of tag has text "Dollcraft Novelty Co. N.Y. Licensed By The Lone Ranger Inc." One holster holds 2.25" long nickel plated cast iron 1-piece gun which is not designed to function other gun is missing. These dolls came in different colors/styled outfits and this one is almost totally different from next item #2611. Molded fabric hat has stiff paper band w/"The Lone Ranger" name and star design Hat has lt. creasing. Tag has vertical crease and small nick at top edge. Fine. Top of head has hair color rubs but otherwise composition is exceptional. Overall VF.
