Item Description
Each of these huge celluloids measures 5.75x7.75". Each has a movable original wire easel on the reverse. Both brass luster reverses are stamped with the maker's name "Pin-Lock Medallion Co. Chicago" plus 1898 patent date. The horizontal format celluloid pictures the Temple of Music with caption lower right "Where Our President Fell Sept. 6th 1901." The second item pictures "Electric Tower/Pan American Exposition, 1901." The detail on each of these is incredible with the Temple of Music being exceedingly close to Mint as made and the Electric Tower just having a few tiny pinpoint dark spots on the bkg. A rare pair.
