Item Description
Each is 8x10.25" glossy stiff paper showing both in uniform holding football with their names printed beneath. Both are c.1950s. Unitas photo shows him as quarterback leaping in air about to throw ball and is signed in ballpoint pen in 2.25x2.75" clear area at left “To Den 1 Cubscouts Johnny Unitas”. Second photo shows Ameche about to run on field and has 3.25x3.75" area at upper left signed in ballpoint pen “To Den #1 Best Wishes To My Favorite Cubscouts Alan Ameche”. Both photos have bit of lt. aging at right side, “Johnny Unitas” name is a bit lt. due to ink flow. Both are Fine and great for display. Hall of Fame star Johnny Unitas was a Colts player from 1956 to 1972 and Alan Ameche was on the Colts from 1955 to 1960 and was a Heisman Trophy winner. Both were on the 1958 and 1959 NFL Championship team. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
