Item Description
First is 1.25" with text "Simple Simon." His face has strong resemblance to MAD Magazine character (see #1527 rare item) including a single missing tooth. No backpaper as issued but curl has name of maker Pulver and button is c. 1904. Second is 1.5" showing strange cartoon bug-eyed man below text "The Hoo Of The Howl Man." He wears tuxedo-style outfit and has an oversized head with enlarged eyes. His bald head has unusual spiked hair tufts at the left and right. Complete with Bastian paper used 1907-1920. Both buttons are Exc. and display Mint.
