We offered a 99% Mint example of this ring in Auction #202 which realized $8,222.00. That resulted in this nearly as nice example as a consignment. This ring was issued in 1941 by Kellogg's All-Rye Flakes and saw extremely limited distribution only in California. The ring is brass with adjustable bands and features Viking sailing ship on each side. Top has Valric wearing a winged helmet along with a tiny brass rivet that holds a small magnifying glass in a brass frame. A small pin on the bottom edge of the ring top allows the magnifying glass to be locked into position thereby magnifying Valric's portrait or the magnifying glass can be swung to the side for use in magnifying other objects. Tiny bit of luster loss barely detectable to the naked eye on the thin edge of the brass circle that forms the finger hole opening and couple of microscopic dots off side edge of the front base. A beautiful brilliant luster ring about 95% Mint. One of the rarest and most desirable premium rings. We've been able to offer two examples of this ring only a total of three times in five decades.
