Item Description
First is 1.75" for "Tiny Tim President & First Lady." Next is rare 1.5" large litho tin tab reading "We Want A Rock'n' Roll President/The Treniers." This rare tab is c. 1956 and relates to a group lead by identical twins Cliff and Claude Trenier whose sound was a combination of swing and early rock and roll. They helped introduce a national television audience to rock and roll on a May 1954 Colgate Comedy Hour show hosted by Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Paint is a little rough to the touch but displays Exc. Next is a 2.5" "Springsteen For President." button. Next are pair of 1.25" buttons for Michael Jackson. Both of these are from 1984. Last is a "Boy George For President" button. This is from 1984. While it has a very oxidized metal back the celluloid itself remains Mint.
