Item Description
1-1/16" w/dies by Robert Lovett and listed in Sullivan as Bell 1860-7. Front has his portrait and date of 1860 along w/slogan "John Bell, Union Candidate For The Presidency." Reverse reads "The Constitution And The Union Now And Forever." Obverse has some lt. scratching on the bkg. and across his shoulder area plus three small indents on the left bkg. One small indent by his forehead is fairly obvious but the other marks are much less pronounced and show only in certain light angles. Reverse has almost no wear and uncirculated luster. Rarely offered in silver and from the Joe Brown collection.
