Item Description
11x14" archival mat has 7.5x9.5" opening with wonderful photo of Harryhausen with prop skeleton warrior from “Jason and the Argonauts”. Upper right has 2.5" bold ink signature “Ray Harryhausen”. Photo and signature are Exc. American film producer and special effects creator Ray Harryhausen created a brand of stop-motion model animation known as “Dynamation”. Among his notable works are “Mighty Joe Young” which won the Academy Award for Special Effects in 1949, his first color film “The Voyage of Sinbad”, and “Jason and the Argonauts” which featured a famous sword fight against seven skeleton warriors. Comes with Hake’s COA and JSA COA.
