Item Description
From the Ralph and Linda Kent collection. See #2177 for biography on Disney legend Ralph Kent. 12 sheets, c.1960s-70s, ranging in size from 9x12" to 14x16.75" done for part, promotional and/or merchandise use. Characters include Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Donald’s nephews, Pluto. Most sheets are in lead pencil with some colored pencil here and there but one large sheet is drawn in India ink showing Donald holding baseball bat arguing with umpire Mickey. Other images include “Sports Physical Fitness Day At Little Lake Bryan” design dated 1978 with Donald’s nephews running, large sheet with Mickey and Minnie using sand pails and shovels, Donald’s nephews playing tennis, Mickey giving Minnie a flower (two different) and Donald scared by a snake. A few lt. handling creases here and there but most image areas are VF/Exc. Art appears to have been done by two or three different artists. Wonderful designs. Additional photos online.
