Item Description
See Seiberling Latex Products Co. paperwork and Wolf figure, items #2380-82. This box is 7.5x12x2.5" deep for set #2956. Various size sets/configurations were issued, this set consisted of just the three pigs. Of those, only Fiddler Pig remains. Box has obvious wear/aging w/surface paper wear along edges, two partial corner splits, soiling to box bottom, etc. Still a displayable example w/choice lid art. Good. Pig is 6" tall. All of the figures were very susceptible to wear and aging due to their fragile nature and many are found collapsed and/or severely distorted. This one is distorted but complete, structurally sound and stands independently. Head is still movable. Trace of dust soiling but very little paint wear. Fine for this figure. One of the few we have been able to offer over our 45 years. Box is also rare. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
