Item Description
Art is attributed to Tom Wood. See Big Bad Wolf and Hiawatha Good Housekeeping art #2203 and 2213. 8.5x11.25" thin art-board has wonderful painting in India ink, watercolor and white paint as done for panel four of Silly Symphony page which appeared in magazine in November. Wonderful image has Frisky The Colt being startled after leaping over fence and landing on angry bull. Right side edge has two registration stickers with a few glue stains and upper left and lower right corners each have glue stains. Lower left corner tip is missing 1" diagonal piece and upper right has “Nov. 1938" pencil date. Despite problems, most of image area will mat and frame to VF appearance. Bright color and exceptionally well done.
