Auction #204 - Part II
Item numbers 1447 through 3204 in auction 204
Item Description
8.75x15”, 4-page unused album c. 1950. Third in the series of 3, this is titled “Hoppy Captures The Bank Robbers” and designed for illustrated bread end labels numbered 33-48. For this album the two inside pages feature Hoppy’s “Creed Of Good Manners” and around this are designated areas for placement of the 16 labels. Back cover includes ad for Bond bread loaf w/image of Hoppy portrait label on one end. Original fold at center, trace of aging. Fine. Second item is 5.5x8" one-sided flyer on newsprint advertising Bond bread and Hoppy labels. Issued prior to the addition of the third album as it mentions only 32 in the series, not 48. Creases and moderate aging w/some small edge tears. VG. Final item is single bread label for "Blue Ribbon" series featuring color photos rather than illustrations. This is #17. Aging with .5" tear at top right. VG.
