Item Description
4.75x6.5". From 1943 and based on the Universal Studios film released that year which starred Lon Chaney, Jr. as the Wolf Man and Bela Lugosi as Frankenstein's monster. This was the first of a series of "Ensemble" monster films combining characters from different film series. 36 pages w/complete set of 144 numbered thin paper stock cards which have been mounted at appropriate spots. Four cards per page. Cards feature nice art that mirrors the film from beginning to end, along w/story text and dialogue in Spanish. Many cards feature Frankenstein and/or Wolf Man. They are also featured in fight scene on the front cover, different scene art on back. Inside front cover has list of film credits and attached sheet listing this and other albums available which include Pinocchio, Dumbo, Zorro, Captain Marvel, Fu Manchu and more. Scattered aging to contents w/some rippling as mounted but all remains clean. Glossy paper cover shows wear/aging w/some corner creases. Cover VG. Cards mostly Exc. as mounted.
