Issued in the 1930s, each volume is 8x10" w/16 pages in the first two books and 32 in the third. Each has complete and mounted set of 1.5x2.25" paper stamps w/choice color images. Number of stamps per volume varied and total are #1-156, #2-144, #3-288 for a grand total of 588 stamps. Each book has nice cover art, pages feature detailed text on the stamps, their subject matter and Nestle advertising. Stamps were issued w/various Nestle products. Books were printed in England. Among the many subjects covered are: insects, birds, plants, fish, animals, aeroplanes, human races, constellations, King Tut's tomb, bridges, mountain railways, sea exploration, dance masks, the Moon, relics, tattooing, ships, and much more. Covers have wear including aging and some staining. Pages aged but clean. Albums are VG overall. Stamps are mostly Exc. to NM as mounted. An extensive and graphic complete collection.
