Item Description
©1959 by Link Research Corporation. 8.5x18.5x10.25" tall tin litho one-piece display over wire frame has nice photo of TV personality Art Linkletter. Text includes “Authentically Scaled Action Toys By Hubley/Durable Metal Reinforced”. Display rack has some wear around edges worn to bare metal in a few places, most of black paint is off wire frame. Display rack is still Fine. Four toys of original six are here. All are hard plastic with vinyl tires & die-cast metal chassis & parts. Toys are models of actual construction equipment and include 6.25" long Le Tourneau-Westinghouse Tournapull scraper, 4" long Cook Bros. concrete mixer, 4.75" long Le Tourneau-Westinghouse Tournatractor, and 3.75" long Le Tourneau-Westinghouse dump truck. Toys were attached to base by holes in bottom of display. Toys show lt. wear and are Fine. Dump truck is missing dump bed but still has original chain attached on underside which allowed customers to “Pick Me Up Feel My Weight” as designated on backboard.
