Box has die-cut insert which includes film strip images of Hoppy in action art and holds 3 3/8x6" long cast metal “Auto-Magic” picture gun with his name and art image. Gun is hinged for access to battery chamber and to replace films. When trigger is pulled, film strip is advanced and light comes on. Light and trigger work but batteries are not included. Pair of 4.25" long film boxes are included. Each has art images of Hoppy with “Hopalong Cassidy” name in rope design. Boxes each contain three film strip loops and one is in the gun for a total of seven which is a complete set. Also included is 8x11" instruction sheet with illustration of picture gun on one side and list of available films on the other. Lid has color rubs around edges with splits at two corner seams and vertical split on right side panel, two inch split along front edge. Still displays bright and Fine. Instruction sheet has fold in center with some age tanning. Fine. Insert has tears around area which holds gun and is slightly concave. VG/Fine. Complete with 8x32" folded cardboard apron to be used as sides for picture theater as well as printed envelope to order more films. Nicely designed.
