Item Description
6x9.25" with 216 pages by George Lowther, published by Random House. Book has bw illustrations throughout, beginning and ending of story chapters plus six full page bw illustrations and four choice full color plates. All art is by Joe Shuster, co-creator of Superman. Dust jacket shows Superman flying over city and reads, "Stories Are Completely New And Have Never Before Appeared Anywhere". Dust jacket is heavily worn with edge wear and extensive tape repairs that have tanned with age. Unclipped dust jacket is just Good. Book cover shows some aging Fine. Contents are overall Fine. Wonderful art throughout. This is the very first Superman regular book ever published.
