Item Description
9" dia. 1930s cloth hat has pressed cardboard brim with wicker ventilation band and brass expansion band trim. Enamel on brass badge has image of Yellow Cab with number "100". Fabric has lt. staining and badge has heavy wear. VG/Fine overall. 2.5" tall enamel on plated metal "Yellow Cab" badge has relief image of Yellow Cab at top and blank number area at bottom, possibly a sample. c. early 1950s marked on reverse Fifth Avenue Uniform Company Chicago. Yellow paint is a bit worn. Fine.
