3.25x5.5x15.75” box contains 15” tall marionette by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. ©Bob Smith. c. 1948-1950. Instructions for using “Unitrol” (one-piece controller) on flap of lid. Box lid shows moderate aging/wear with some scattered tears and creasing. One piece box as compared to item #2583 Howdy Doody. VG/Fine. Wood/fabric/composition marionette has movable jaw and is complete with separate plastic eyeglasses and watch with metal chain (both of which are usually found missing). Composition head, hands and feet. Choice condition marionette is complete and as nice as they come. NM.
