Item Description
3x5.5x16" box. Early 1950s. ©Bob Smith/Designed By Raye Copelan/Manufactured By Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. Instructions for using the "Unitrol" (one-piece control) explained on lid flap. Box has moderate tears and creasing. Lid is split about halfway across seam. Complete and still displays nicely. Box Good. Princess has composition feet, hands and head with yarn braids and felt headband. She wears detailed cloth Indian outfit with fringes. Complete with metal link necklace that still has two cello charms for Spring and Fall. Winter and Summer are missing. Rarely found with any still intact. Otherwise marionette is complete in choice condition. Exc. See items #2583-84 for other marionettes in this series.
