Item Description
Complete set of first 24 presidents each in 7/8" size stating name and years in office. All made by W&H with 13 having backpaper also naming "American Pepsin Gum Co." and 11 naming "The Fair/State & Adams Sts." All 24 include W&H button making patent dates. The only three with any age: Lincoln has light age tone, Andrew Johnson has two faint tan dots on rim edge and Garfield has a few barely visible tan dots on rim. Overall, this is the cleanest set we can recall offering. The set was produced in 1897 and was used by sponsors as giveaways or it could be bought from W&H for fifty cents. Rare in this condition.
