6.5" wide by 4.5" tall by 2.5" deep cast iron with 90% original gold paint. Front displays high relief and highly detailed elephant with "GOP" on the blanket area of the opening that holds 2.25" real photo button in NM condition displaying Mint. A classic 1908 campaign item with an existing donkey mate holding Bryan button. This Taft example is Hake #3041 with 2004 Guide value of $445. Also see following variety. Outstanding example.
