Auction #205 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1426 in auction 205
Item Description
Large 21x29" quality wood frame with plexiglass and double mats of black and gray holding pair of pictures each with visible area of 9.5x12.5". It appears these were originally a double page spread in a large format magazine as there is the slightest show through on the white margins of text printed on reverse. Lower left corner of each reads "Please Place This Picture In Your Window." In addition, on FDR lower right corner is "Democratic National Committee." Each also has matching tiny text "Photo © Baker." Below are their full names and the offices they seek while above is the 1920 campaign slogan "Their Election Means Peace, Progress And Prosperity." Handsomely presented and a rare jugate, so much more affordable than the iconic celluloid button jugate.
