Item Description
This piece is 9.25x10" tall but only 1.75" thick at base with .5" thick bust area. It is marked on side of right shoulder "Jose Martin", a famous French sculpture artist who did numerous pieces for the 1933 Century of Progress and the 1936 Texas Centennial. There is a very fine hairline 1" long on the front where the face touches the shoulder on the left. On the blank reverse the line is 3" long but again just a hairline. Scattered dust smudges but displays Fine. Likely 1933 inauguration. Rare.
